IONIA. Phokaia. 2nd century BC. AE (Bronze, 16 mm, 3.42 g, 12 h), Pythis, magistrate. Draped bust of Hermes to right, wearing petasos. Rev. Φ-Ω / ΠΥΘΙΣ Forepart of a griffin to right. BMC 105. SNG Copenhagen 1038. A lovely coin with a charming rendering of Hermes. Good very fine.
